What are your drop off days & times?

Please bring your items in for consignment on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m.

Is there a buyer's premium?

No, we do not include a buyer’s premium on any of our sales. What you bid is WHAT YOU PAY. It’s as simple as that.

What if I can't come to the auction but still want to bid?

We will take absentee bids if you can’t come to the sale. Please call us at 618.462.6458 to leave an absentee bid.

How do I pay for items that I buy?

We accept payment in the form of CASH OR CHECK ONLY. Except for real estate sales, you must pay for your items in full on the day of the sale. Real Estate sales requires a non-refundable down payment; check the real estate listing for the exact amount and terms.

Will I get a title if I buy a vehicle, trailer, boat or other titled item?

Yes, you will get a title for any titled item purchased. If you pay cash we will give you your title on the day of the sale. If you pay by check the title can be picked up after the check has cleared. If there are problems related to the title, the auctioneer will clearly state it before the sale of the item.

How do I sell my items at an auction?

We are always looking for new consigners. Please give us a call or come in to discuss  the items that you would like to sell. (Please note, we do not accept items commonly classified as yard sale items; clothes, shoes, etc.)

What type of items are sold at auction?

Hilltop Auction sells a wide variety of items. Antiques, household goods, new merchandise, collectibles, tools, military & historic items, vehicles, farm equipment and real estate are just a few. Each sale will always be different.
